In the biological sense, the term adult refers to a human or animal that is one that has completely matured. In the realm of human beings, adult refers to legal and social concepts. As opposed to a "non-adult" or "minor", a legal adult is a person who has reached the age of majority, and therefore is considered autonomous, self-sufficient and dependable. It is also possible to view them as"major" or "major". The general consensus is that the age at which a person becomes a legal adult is 18. It is possible for this to vary depending on legal rights and the country of origin and also on the psychological state.
